Romantic Spring Wedding Inspiration

Romantic Roses, 3 Ways

We recently teamed up with to craft a romantic, feminine shoot to showcase these pink and peach wholesale roses. We used the roses in three different ways, each of which would be perfect for a spring wedding or bridal shower. We hope you enjoy these images captured by the talented Boston wedding photographer Lara Kimmerer.

1. Bouquet

Roses offer such depth and variety in color, size and texture. We wanted to create a simple bouquet that really highlighted the peony-like blooms of the Cabbage Garden Roses, the frilly petals of the Peachy Cantaloupe Garden Roses, and the delicate blooms of the Perfumela Peach Spray Roses. The roses are offset by just a few sprigs of leaves.

2. Flower Crown

We love the flower crown trend, especially for spring weddings. The large roses and asymmetrical arrangement created a dramatic flower crown in vibrant pinks and soft shades of peach.

3. Tablescape

On the table, we again wanted to let the roses shine, this time with stems in a collection of glass vases, arranged from dark pink to peach to soft pink, creating a subtle ombre effect. We constructed a three-tier fresh flower chandelier to give additional drama overhead. Finally, the pink and peach roses were complemented with minty greens in the antique plates, votives and tablecloth.

Find out how to make these yourself; our easy DIY instructions were recently featured on Wedding Chicks

Lavender & Rosemary Winter Wedding Inspiration

Styled Shoot

For this inspiration shoot, we wanted to create a romantic, soft, rustic winter wedding with a touch of vintage glam that offered an alternative to silvery, glittery winter weddings (which we also love). We were inspired by lavender and rosemary, and incorporated both throughout the shoot, from the overall color palette to the drink and menu selections to the invitation design. We love the symbolism behind both - lavender is a representation of peace and tranquility, while rosemary is often associated with love and remembrance. Perfect for a winter wedding.

We shot mostly outside on a very cold day (like 19 degrees cold). We loved the isolated feeling and natural beauty of the rustic landscape. The stunning blush "Faith" gown by Karen Willis Holmes from Ceremony Boston added just the right amount of color against the fresh dusting of snow, and the vintage furs rounded out the bride's elegant look while keeping her surprisingly warm. For the groom, we chose a classic look with a navy jacket from 9tailors and topped it off (pun intended) with a fun fedora. We're obsessed with the bride's headband - it glittered so beautifully in the sunlight and added unique vintage-inspired flair.

We used wholesale flowers from to create simple arrangements, with deliciously fragrant roses, as well as a stunning greens garland that we used both on the tablescape and as a festive ceremony backdrop.

We hope you enjoy our work, and huge thanks to Jenn Bakos for capturing it all so beautifully.
